Every ingredient is chosen with intention. Non-nano zinc oxide provides mineral sun protection, while nourishing oils and botanical butters help keep skin moisturized and comfortable during time spent outdoors.
Due to the hand-crafted, small batch nature of this product, the total SPF will vary, but averages around 20 - 25 SPF. This is an appropriate SPF for every day use, but may not be high enough during prolonged sun exposure. If you are unsure, it is recommended that you pair this sunscreen with a higher SPF.
Suggested Use
Apply generously to clean, dry skin before spending time outdoors.
Reapply every two hours, or after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Why I Made This
Protecting my skin has become one of the simplest ways I care for myself each day. Whether I'm spending the afternoon in the garden or simply running errands around town, I wanted a sunscreen made with ingredients I recognize and feel good about using every day.
When I began creating Sun Veil, I wanted a true mineral sunscreen; that's why I chose non-nano zinc oxide (a mineral that sits on the surface of the skin and reflects a broad spectrum of UV rays). That's why it's one of the most trusted and well-researched ingredients used in mineral sun protection today.
The nourishing oils, herbal ingredients, and beeswax were then carefully chosen to support the skin while the zinc does the work of protecting it.
