Many of the botanicals in this blend have been valued for generations as natural insect deterrents. 

Citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, cedarwood, and peppermint are rich in fragrant plant compounds that help disrupt the scents mosquitoes and other biting insects use to locate us.

Rather than masking the outdoors with heavy synthetic fragrances, BuzzGuard works with the natural chemistry of plants to offer gentle, botanical protection.

Shake well before each use.

Spray generously onto exposed skin and clothing before spending time outdoors. Reapply every couple of hours, or more often after heavy sweating or extended time outside.

Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.

• Citronella has long been one of the most trusted plants for naturally helping repel mosquitoes. Modern research suggests its aromatic oils help make it harder for mosquitoes to pick up on the scents they use to find us.  

• Lemongrass contains citronellal and geraniol, which are also recognized for their repellent properties.  

• Cedarwood is traditionally used to discourage insects and has shown repellent activity against certain insects in studies.  

• Peppermint and Eucalyptus round out the blend with fresh, aromatic oils that many biting insects naturally avoid.
