Long before liquid bandaid, plants were the first line of defense to stop minor bleeding. Blood Stop Herbal Powder is a simple blend of traditional herbs that have been valued for generations to help support the body's natural clotting process and protect minor wounds while you prepare them for further care.

Whether you're working in the garden, out on the trail, or simply living everyday life, it's a small pocket size remedy that's easy to keep nearby when little accidents happen.

  • Traditionally Used to Help

    • Support the body's natural clotting process for minor cuts
    • Help slow superficial bleeding
    • Protect small cuts while preparing further care
    • Keep close while hiking, gardening, camping, or working outdoors
    • Pair with the Wound Wash and Herbal Ally Healing Salve as part of a complete botanical first aid routine
  • Ingredients

    • Shepherd's Purse* – An astringent herb that helps reduce minor bleeding.
    • Yarrow* – Supports the body's rapid blood clotting response.
    • Plantain* – Cools and soothes irritated skin and supports tissue repair.
    • Witch Hazel – Tightens and constricts the blood vessels to stop the flow of blood.
    • Calendula* – Both astringent and anti-inflammatory, it supports the skin's natural healing process.

*Wild-foraged or grown here on our homestead whenever the season allows.

  • Suggested Use

After gently washing the area, sprinkle a small amount of herbal powder directly onto the wound. Apply firm, continuous pressure until a clot forms and bleeding stops.

Do not wash or scrape the powder out of the wound after it clots, as it naturally forms a safe and protective seal that can be covered with a bandage.

For best results, follow with Wound Wash to cleanse the area and Herbal Ally Healing Salve once the wound is ready for ongoing skin support.

    For external use only.

  • Why I Made This

Some of the oldest herbal traditions begin with the plants found around us. Shepherd's Purse and Yarrow are common plants to see in the early spring throughout the summer and have been trusted for generations because of the role they've traditionally played in wound care.

It's one of those quiet little remedies that I hope you never need often, but you'll be glad to have when you do.
